Peace, man.
The peace symbol, or anti-nuclear emblem, is one of the most widely known symbols in the world and was created in 1958 by British Designer, Gerald Holtom. This symbol became widely used in the United States in the 1970’s. With the recent 50th anniversary of Woodstock, this symbol of peace had made a comeback and is always in style.
In these designs, I use hand painted wooden buttons, beads fashioned from wood and bone and pewter cast peace signs. All are embedded under resin set against a backdrop of cork or multi-colored glass & metal beads. Each hand poured and drilled. Each one unique. Some styles only available in soda or beer caps, not both. See individual listing for product choices.
